Re-bucketing Sales stages without changing CRM

The Sales stages set up in my CRM are out of date for what we’re looking to analyze in StarLifter. I can’t change them in my CRM without going through a rigorous vetting process. Is there a way for me to change the stages in StarLifter to make it easier for my team to understand, while still updating with my CRM API calls?

  1. Create a Classification Table, relating the old stage names to the new stage names you want visible in StarLifter.

  2. Then create a reference field from the Classification Table to the collection with the stages you’re looking to change.
